CMW completed a large scale geotechnical investigation in the central wheatbelt for a proposed solar farm. The site investigation comprised a number of test pits and thermal and electric resistivity testing. Pile testing was completed following the investigation to determine the requirement for predrilling in the shallow granite and deeper embedment in the sands across the site
